Lovingly called as Jeba Miss, she reminds us of all the efforts that she took to bring YWCA Matriculation School to be worth mentioning in the history of education by changing the lives of many children and teachers. I am one among them who witnessed her simple yet stern and strict corrections that has build greater chapters. Her life is a challenge for all those who are in this present world with corruption. Her committed life makes me to relate to the eight virtues for a believer as quoted by Apostle Paul. All these virtues were seen in her helped to be useful and fruitful in the kingdom of God. 1 Faith (2 Peter 1:5) Madam fully trusted in her heavenly Father, and showed her complete faith to the people around her and challenged every of her students to experience that faith. 2 Moral excellence (2Peter 1:5) Madam lived without corruption —a truly amazing accomplishment. She was able to look people in their eye and say not to commit sin. 3 Knowledge (2Peter 1:5) Madam was filled with the knowledge and insight to lead people and finish the responsibilities that she was rendered. 4 Temperance (2Peter 1:6) Madam showed righteous anger with great self control. She did not lose her temper. She did not revile, nor yet reside. She acted deliberately with temperance, courage, and authority. 5 Patience (2Peter 1:6) Madam’s patience has been subjected to trials at various levels. She has never retaliated or weakened, but endured with forbearance and long suffering passing this Godly virtue to the hundreds of children she has tutored. 6 Godliness (2Peter 1:6) Madam’s godliness in everything, but as one example, her prayer on her knees has enabled her to live the life that God expected from her. 7 Brotherly Kindness (2Peter 1:7) Madam’s godly kindness for those in need has made her to stand out among all the people in her profession. The kindness and encouragement that she showed to our family has enabled us to reflect the true nature of Christ. 8 Love (2Peter 1:7) Madam’s love for her husband and children, profession and towards God is worth mentioning. She is a regular attendant of the church. In the midst of all her difficult times, she has expressed God’s love in the best possible way. It is a great joy to write about her and it is a great challenge for every one of us to be a virtuous woman like her to be priced more than rubies (Proverbs 31:10). - Mrs. Blessie J.
